G_BAG
g_bag is a single-shoulder bag made of Kitotex denim and treated with g_pwdr technology (patented by Alisea).
g_pwdr is an innovative material that, for the first time, recovers graphite powder from industrial processes to treat garments and fabrics. Compared to traditional dyeing techniques, g_pwdr Technology allows us to reduce water consumption by 90%, to reduce electricity waste by 47% and to avoid chemical pigments and additives.
Fabrics treated with g_pwdr are characterized by:
- a unique shade of grey that cannot be obtained with any chemical dyeing processes;
- soft touch, obtained without the use of fabric softeners, but solely thanks to the lubricating properties of graphite;
- a unique, unrepeatable touch, due to the innate abrasive properties of the graphite powder
The Kikotex denim we use for g_bag is a jeans fabric obtained with an innovative process that works with Chitosan, a natural, atoxic, biocompatible and biodegradable material derived from the chitin contained in the exoskeletons of crustaceans. The production of Kitotex denim allows us to consume 30% less energy compared to other techniques, 50% less water and 70% less chemicals.

Our R | CUOIO collection talks about design, sustainability and craftsmanship quality, values that guide our work from more than 25 years. R | CUOIO used by Alisea is produced using the leftover leather from the Italian footwear industry that would otherwise have ended up in landfill. R | CUOIO objects are sewn in Italy with cotton thread without the use of glue. They are customized with digital printing or hot printing in full respect of the environment. Available in charcoal gray or havana brown colours.

The R|tote and the R_case were customized with the digital printing technique reproducing the artwork of the Dutch artist Sandra Jacobs
R|bag in R|cuoio, havana brown colour, size cm 30 x 40 with short handles (35 cm). Also available in the 43 × 45 size and with long handles (70 cm). It is possible to design a model with ad hoc measures based on the customer’s request.

Both the size of the shopper and the pochette were made to measure according to the customer’s needs.

COTTON
The Gabardine cotton bags are light but strong. Designed and produced in Italy using 280/350 g fabric, they are stitched using cotton or polypropylene thread. The entire bag can be customized using natural inks. All the bags have a cotton “Born in Italy” label.

To celebrate the 800th anniversary of Cittadella walls foundation and Dante’s Marathon “Dante sopra le Mura”, we created a one-shoulder bag made of untreated gabardine cotton. For the customization we chose g_ink, the first and only pigment made with recycled graphite powder, which offers a perfect alternative to the use of chemical dyes in silk screen printing of paper and fabrics.

JUTE
Jute, traditionally used for the production of bags for the agri-food industry, is a natural fiber that is 100% biodegradable, recyclable and highly resistant. It is an ideal material for making bags that can hold a significant weight thanks, in part, to the polypropylene thread seam. Jute is available in its natural colour or it can be coloured, upon request, with Pantone colors. All the jute ecobags have the cotton “Born in Italy” label. The yarn is available in red, green, yellow, blue, orange, tobacco and Havana brown. Customized with silk screen printing using water-based inks.

GEOTEXTILE
Geotextile is a high tenacity material that is 100% recyclable. The bag has been designed to hold great weights thanks, in part, to the polypropylene stitching available in different colors. The bag can be customized with silk screen printing in one or two colors using water-based inks. All the bags have the “Born in Italy” label.
“Geotextile is a high resistance polypropylene material that is water-resistant, free from resins and adhesives, is resistant to mold, rodents and micro-organisms and does not contain any chemical agents. It is used in agriculture to separate different layers of material, for example earth and gravel, in the construction industry and for ducting, in particular as a sheath for tubes in pipelines and methane pipelines”.

These shopping bags are made with a special type of paper that combines an elegant embossed finish with incredible wear, moisture resistance and weight capacity. Every shopping bag is entirely sewn round the edge and on the handles using only cotton thread, available in a variety colors, and without using any kind of glue. The bag is completely recyclable. The 100% pure cellulose paper has FSC-CW certification as it comes from sustainable farming; it is water-resistant and fully recyclable.
“We discovered the potential of using this unique type of paper thanks to a customer who, after a long period of research and devoting his own time and energy and that of his collaborators to the task, finally managed to find a way to print on it perfectly. When he told us, we could see the happiness and pride in his eyes. They shone like those of a person who had achieved something that they had been working on for a long time.”
“The paper was created in the sixties to be used exclusively in the production of industrial bags that could hold both agricultural materials, such as grain, flour and vineyard waste, and building materials, such as cement or hydraulic glue. Products that contained a high degree of moisture and that had to be kept in bags that could support approximately fifty kilograms, resist wear, tear and abrasion, and that at the same time could breathe naturally. The paper was designed and manufactured to meet all these requirements, and also, thanks to the rough, embossed finish, several bags could be stacked on top of each other without slipping.
A beautiful type of paper that we immediately fell in love with. It was the perfect material to make a unique, beautiful and strong shopping bag for our customers.”

WIX is an embossed paper shopping bag with side panels, entirely sewn using cotton thread along the edges and on the handles; the color of the stitching, the cotton thread, can be matched to the color of the shopping bag. JACRON SHOPPING BAG AND TROLLEY
JACRON
JACRON is the material we used for the new line of the 2015 Alisea Shopping Bags. It was created in the ‘90s for jeans labels and all the leading casual clothing brands, especially from the US, were its main clients. It principal characteristics include: it can be printed with any technique, it is resistant to repeated washing and seams. All these are quite unusual for a paper product like Jacron.
Jacron is water-resistant with good weight capacity and fully recyclable.
“We took advantage of these technical properties and, thanks to the intuition that one of our leather specialists had, we started to develop a range of products based on this material. It is so versatile that it can be handled and transformed with tanning techniques. Thanks to this we could use it in different sectors from the one it had been originally conceived for.”
The material is made with virgin pulp mixed with latexes and binding agents that make it stronger and more resistant. The finished product is fully compliant with all relevant regulations and can be recycled too.
Alisea now uses it in various versions for different types of objects and for bags and leather products manufacturing.

The historic HOTEL EXCELSIOR Venice Lido Resort has chosen the unique beach bag created by Alisea, the G-Bag, an object that merges the quality of Italian textiles, innovation, research and attention to the environment.
Drawstring Bag (Agriculture)
The peculiar anti aphid mesh was used in an alternative way to make this bag. This fabric prevents the spreading of diseases caused by microorganisms harmful to crops in an eco-friendly way, with no need for chemicals.
The white color gives great luminosity to the fabric and sunrays can go through it.
The mesh is made with a single yarn and lets air go in and out, it is strong and UV resistant, thanks to a specific UV stabilization treatment.
It is equipped with a shoulder cord and two pockets, one of which is lined with calfskin, a waste product of an Italian leading brand of leather products.

After being collected, cleaned and sanitized, the poster has been hand cut and sewn to create beauty cases. Those are unique pieces, able to constitute a constant reference, in time and in the collective memory, of the place and the event they come from.
A customized label inside the case tells the story of the object, along with the name and date of the campaign
