After the success of last year’s first edition, TEDxVicenza is back to bring a wave of fresh ideas to the city. This year’s theme is “Play. Pause. Restart.” — and each speaker will interpret it in their own way, sharing personal stories about experiencing a pause and then starting over.

Among this year’s TEDx speakers on the stage of the Teatro Comunale di Vicenza will be Susanna Martucci Fortuna, founder of Alisea Recycled & Reused Objects Design and co-inventor of Perpetua – The Pencil. She will share what it meant for her to restart and channel her creative energy into the world of reuse and recycling.

This year, TEDxVicenza wants to deliver a clear message: in life, setbacks are inevitable — but they can become powerful opportunities to shift direction. Susanna was invited to that stage precisely because she never stopped putting herself out there. When life forced her to pause, she always found a way to restart — continually evolving both her business and her entrepreneurial mindset.
